You can't post a whole thread about cutting some dead pine tree with an electric chain saw that took you 3 hours, then chime in like this.
Most people start kicking cause they are trying to avoid landing on their fin.....you get stylepoints for a cannonball, but not in Ireland in January.
You are again demonstrating why you posess a Dink Factor 9 rating. | Awe, and I thought I was going to be invited into the "Abide" inner circle. Let me defend myself a bit without wasting energy. The storm that snapped a full grown pine tree in my backyard which was quite alive and not dead was the same one that was tossing your favorite scared shitless turkeys to all points of the compass, and that is why I have added it. Most people don't know how to fall including me. I broke both my wrists concurrently in a fall while doing the very tree work you are using to call me a dink. I do wish I had paid more attention to the gym teacher or tumbling coach and you should, too. Yesterday I was ice skating on the Butler rink in Hyannis. This is the cold side of the sport's complex. The ice was slick and fast. The Zamboni man, an African American does an excellent job. I was skating with a girl friend who can still do a remarkable figure skating routine. She fell a couple of times jumping in tights and got right up and skated. The last fall was too much for her, although the coach and I tried to persuade her to get up on her own power and continue skating. It would have made her a much better athlete. The lady coach exhibited a lot less sympathy for her than everyone else. Is that 600 lb. Gorilla, Dan Weiss, still in the room? I knew there was more blarney on it's way. |

C'mon, Brucie, don't be a dink. 'Fess up. You fell out of that tree while looking in someone's bedroom window. ..

He lived life more than most people ever will.
The video of him that Outcast posted with the Awalnation song (Sail) has me mesmerized every time I watch it. Though the lyrics to the song really makes you think about what could have been going on in his mind.
It is sad. If he had just been able to make it though a day or two he may have realized things do always get better no matter how down you are.
Thanks Josh for standing up and speaking for the windsurfing world.
I never met Mikey (wish I had) but he was a family member in this great windsurfing family of ours.
Sail on Mikey. |

Thanks for posting that video U2.
The fist time I saw that video of him sailing those huge waves all alone I must have watched it 5 times in a row.
Such a solid wavesailor. True talent. _________________ www.Clew-View.com

Hurricane winds forecast by NOAA in South Eastern Ma. today, tonight and tomorrow. In fact there's no doubt that the wind will be over 70 mph out at Stellwagen bank. Time for this crew to move up into the big leagues. Abide!!! You will all end up in heaven. |
