Nice here in buzzards. Fairly steady warm and sunny! 4,0 did the job. Yeah January thaw!

Ron, we're planning to be in Kalmus at 10 am tomorrow, and on the water by 11. We sailed a bit more than 2 hours today, hoping for the same or more tomorrow. Low tide 12:30, shallow (< 1 ft) from 11 to 3 pm. Very easy, safe, and fun even when it's blowing low 30s.
I think we'll have nice SW-WSW in the upper 20s to around 30 until early afternoon. Later in the afternoon, it could go either way, going down or going up to nuking WSW. Hard to predict the exact timing of when the wind turns, and computer models differ. Best bet is to start before noon. Hope to see you with gear tomorrow!

Thanks Peter, your advice is receiving earnest consideration.
What you said yesterday about the low tide, bathymetry ( easy chop on the inside), southerly onshore direction and the jetty is what I concluded years ago; the “play pen”.
Last night, my son was offered a ride to the indoor skate park Fun box which opens at 12. Nobody is up to work out the logistics just yet.

There was great wind out on the Vineyard Sound yesterday. The water is definitely too cold for me. Who was out? I spent the afternoon working on my new pair of skating skis. Hopefully, we'll see some more snow so I can use them.

Team Old Skool -1 . Buzzards Bay . 4.2 for me. Pretty warm, but my fingertips always get cold. A bit gusty, but can't complain on JAN 20TH.
