Hey All,
Many years ago I subscribed to Windsurfing Magazine. As I understand it is no longer published. I was just wondering if there is an alternative or another winsurfing magazine? If not in print, do you guys have a recommendation for an online magazine?
I want to get up to speed with the newer boards and equipment and was hoping to find a good periotical that does reviews, beginners tips, destinations and such.
Thanks for all your help! |

Thanks Brian!!!
Well I did do a google search and windsport is one of the top selections. I have been reading it and watching the videos. There is some really cool stuff to be found on there.
I remember back-in-the-day when I had a subscription to Windsurfer Magazine. It was my favorite thing to read. I didn't even have a windsurfer, but I would read each issue cover to cover (sometimes more than once!!). I would day dream about having a kit and sailing the local waters. I would also go to the annual boat show in Houston. My dad and brothers would spend all day wondering from boat to boat in awe of the coolness. Me, I would just go from windsurfer distributer to windsurfer distributer and spend hours looking at the cool boards, the colorful sails and watching the demo videos. After a few years, I did finally get me a windsurfer but life interrupted the follow through of actually becoming an active windsurfer!
Again, thanks for the info. I was truly dissapointed when I found out Windsurfer Magazine is no longer published. I have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to how much things have changed since the early 90's. My son was asking what I wanted for Xmas and a windsurfing magazine was the first thing that popped into my mind (cheap for him and a gift that gives all year long for me). |

Windsurf from the UK is available still in print, rather pricy.
Surf from Germany, so printed in German. _________________ K4 fins

Get a subscription to Windsport - whether someone buys it for you or not. That'll help keep the stoke coming for all of us!

More than one person here has posted that this forum is more useful than any magazine, for many reasons. |

I'll add another recommendation supporting Windsport magazine. It's a well done print publication that is worthy of its subscription rate. |
