So what's the ultimate, no hassle, windsurfing mobile?
I'm talking everyday vehicle you drive to work, and then go windsurfing
(assuming that you do work). Something that you can avoid getting that all to familiar WS'ing stench to travel along with you wherever you go.
Something somewhat practical too.
Let's hear your solutions and ideas.
And, Happy Thanksgiving y'all.

It's a van. You and all your gear are always ready to go, and everything is safely stowed inside. If there's a stink, you can always remove, rinse and dry your wetsuit and booties overnight. Just don't forget to put them back in the van.

if I drove that to the beach
I would have a fully stocked motor home pulling a trailer with rigged sails
and someone like Aimee Teegarden
help with selection of rig.
to answer the question, as too frequently happens , No "racks" on the roof.

I swear that's my old board! An SIC F-18 I bought from PonoBill on Maui, can't imagine that paint job was replicated?

Well buddy, if you decided you'd like to have your F-18 back, it could cost a pretty penny, I'm afraid. Looks like that guy has the perfect board & car solution for pretty much every day of the year, city or beach. He won't easily part with that board, unless....

Minivans work great. Car-like driving, all stuff fits inside, and they can pretty much go anywhere. I have the Sienna, but all of them work. A full size van is also great, but they tend to drive piggy and are not good on gas.
If you can wait, the new Ford Transit looks pretty good. Our Euro friends can tell you about its virtues. Of course, there's always the Sprinter, but it's going to cost you.

If no hassel means reliable then I agree with Ed, a minivan is great; for no hassel get a low milage Sienna or for a better driver's feel a Honda Odyssey.
If you want to go cheap, just find a Chrysler or Dodge Caravan. Cheap and reasonably reliable. A cabby who we use all the time has a few Chrysler Minivans with 200-300 k miles on them, they still go well.
