Does anyone have any news about the state of ocean parkway, Gilgo, Overlook, Cedar, Tobay beaches?
I would like to drive out and try to sail tomorrow, but we gave gas rationing in effect and I can't do a wild goose chase with 1/2 tank left. _________________ florian - ny22

Some bridges out to the islands, were still closed and awaiting final inspections. Many concrete slab sections of the Ocean Parkway have just slide off as they were undermined due to the dunes having been washed away. It could be a long time before open access will be available again. _________________ NY30 |
