Location will be confirmed some time Saturday
WIll post Sat PM for a final call.
Nauset Public or Chatham light are most likley locations.
Condions would be side to side on.
Wave Forecast is shoulder to head high.

It's hard for me to disagree with my alterego PK, but I'm having a tough time imagining a scenario where the Cape gets good. As Sandy pushes North the winds will have to clock from E to N, and will therefore junk things up. (Alot) The swell direction and period will suck too.
While there is a slight chance that things may work when the winds start coming around to NNW (Not Sunday), the last time that scenario played out, was when Nahant got postal....Blockidog got his photofame, and Head of Meadow was way off the hook, and nonsailable for married folks.
Plus there's the whole rain thing....but I am quite sure i will sail somewhere....
Meantime I am just kind of happy that technology will allow Donald Takayama shapes to be around in the future.......It's sad to think that 20 years ago a shaper's skills would die with him.....now they can live on

I think Sandy has nothing to do with sunday
Some other low pressre system is responsible
But begining to wonder if I should take next week off since the charts are purple all week. Tuesday and wednesday look like vitory at sea days
Red Bull Storm Chase bailing on OBX? Maybe they should come to cape cod?

Still looks good for Cape on Sunday afternoon.
Venue TBD but NE we are leaning to Nauset publice for access and action is at beach and not 1/2 mile off shore.
If ENE we will reassess. Sandy Neck is possible but it needs wind for a few hours to build any kind of wave.

Sunday is the day.....after that it all goes down hill quick.
I looked at the Cut the other day, and it looks tasty, but NE wind and opposing swell on an outgoing tide spells junk to me.
I wanna have one last seat at the Ocean Mist before it is turned to a woodpile. Or go see the Surf Nazi, or pick pumpkins with CrazyFingers.
Sorry, PK can call the show....but No peanuts are forthcoming.
Dear JE....thought my 20hp going overboard was comical.....sounds like you took it to the Next level......Did you get to ride in the basket?........Please tell me that you at least got to put on a Survival Suit.
