Amen, JB. NW replays his paranoid tapes, scaring himself. Most on the right will not realize that the angry, irrational, weasel-faced Gowdy helped elect Clinton.

I am still not convinced of her culpability in the failure to protect the embassy but it doesn't matter now. The republicans have played their hand and blew it.

As for the FBI, anything they come up with will be rejected by the public as being a partisan railroad job. The idiots won't realize what they've accomplished until after she has been sworn in.

I endured the first 6-8 hours of testimony, but was not able to suss the committee's objective besides "get the facts". Now, facts are nice, especially to people whose relatives died at Benghazi and to anyone hoping to find an honest politician. But endless hearings when there are no crimes or jail sentences -- only lies and malfeasance and incompetence and coverups at every level of this administration -- at stake? What's the point?

Oh, yes: trying to find and root out corruption.

Works for me. And we found it yesterday. Never mind that ever-present Fox News news analyst Juan Williams stood up for the American Left and declared repeatedly that all these lies and malfeasance and incompetence and coverups at every level of this administration are NORMAL AND THUS ACCEPTABLE because they're politicians.

Absolutely disgusting. But I gotta admit she did look presidential in the process; she's a great tap dancer until it becomes obvious that she's tap dancing under oath.

This POS is in for a whole 'nuther experience when she faces the FBI on up to 13 criminal and espionage charges times tens of thousands of counts. The test now is whether Obama wants to and is able to illegally abort DOJ prosecution if it chooses that course.

What happens when the FBI determines that nothing illegal was done?

"Oh, we'll get her over the next hill. No doubt. There's got to be a smoking gun that proves all the ugly things we've been saying, and probably a lot more. We need to just keep fishing for the truth."

GOP to Hold Hearings on What Went Wrong With the Hearing

Jerry and Joe Long comedy & satire http://longbrothers.com/

WASHINGTON: Paul Ryan announced today that his first official act as Speaker will be to launch a congressional inquiry into the inability of Republican members of the Benghazi committee to have a point.

Chairman Trey Gowdy, who rose to fame as the kid who played the banjo in Deliverance, took umbrage with Ryan's assessment by claiming there was one on top of his head. Congressman Jim Jordan, winner of bipartisan praise for proving conclusively that you don't need to wear a coat to be an empty suit, agreed to serve as chair if Gowdy found work at a filling station.

While Ryan's ascendancy to the Speakership seems likely, there is still some doubt as to whether the combined IQ of the Freedom Caucus can reach the necessary 218. Yet the committee moved swiftly to subpoena the business records of an Alexandria Office Depot where Sidney Blumenthal is said to have purchased toner for his fax machine in 1993.

In a related story, Ryan said he plans to multitask as Speaker by drinking $350 bottles of Pinot Noir with his kids.

In other news: Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee are rumored to be replacing those two guys in the Sonic Drive-In commercials.

ISO keep it up referring to Hill as a "POS" and the current president as a "fugging idiot "
You are representing quite well here...
That was a smack down for the ages , really unreal .. Why ? There was nothing new... If you look at the transcript from 2013 it's the exact same line of questioning .. Even Trey Gowdy admitted that nothing new came up..
It was great theatre and showed that pressure doesn't phase Hillary .. 11 hours , one witness, national TV and a cast of blood thirsty morons .. Next up! Repub debate... Popcorn please!

BTW I was at a trade show in Altanta a year ago and went to visit a Engineering friend up in that neck of the woods. My friend does get together with banjo boy to play music with him every so often. Banjo boy does not get any royalties off his part of that movie, he was just an extra. Yet for me he is one of the most memorable parts of the movie. He works at Walmart as a maintenance employee. We went out to the river where much of it was filmed, we panned for gold a bit as it was a good waterflow year.

yep and still on this investigation what another 17 million or so spent? and not one significant finding that he came forward with to get her. that is pathetic...

I think he just delivered the election to Hilary with not a thing coming out... the only chance right wingers have is electronic vote fraud and stopping americans from voting.

Quote:
GOWDY: The chairman defended his lengthy probe by arguing that seven previous congressional investigations "were narrow in scope and either incapable or unwilling to access the facts and evidence necessary to answer all relevant questions."

THE FACTS: What Gowdy didn't mention: Five of those seven investigations were led and controlled by his fellow House Republicans, who were no pushovers. The other two congressional investigations, led by Senate Democrats, produced bipartisan reports.

While each panel investigated matters under its particular jurisdiction, the mandate was still broad, and underlying facts behind the attacks were explored repeatedly.

That's not to say information that emerged after these investigations has been comprehensively explored. Gowdy noted his panel demanded additional documents and was the first to get Clinton's email — kept on her personal server.
