Why don't liberals just boycott oil, they can just wear hemp sandals and belts, and drive around on bikes with coconut wheels.

Matty, that's a great idea! Why didn't I think of that?

On the same note, conservatives could avoid using all roads and send their kids to private schools.

Why?

Since they don't want to pay taxes, they shouldn't be allowed to use public roadways and public schools.

Also, kiss the library goodbye, don't expect police protection, hope your house never burns, and pray you never need an ambulance.

And, of course, don't complain when your upwind neighbor decides to convert his five acres of yard into a pig farm. Because you want no regulations, that also applies to your neighbor. He can do what he wants, and you can get stuffed.

Pueno
Its almost time for your afternoon apple sauce, so let me be quick.
NO ONE SAYS THEY DO NOT WANT TO PAY TAXES, OR WE DO NOT NEED REGULATIONS. Its more like how much more can I pay , and where is this money going, and does this regulation make sense or does it simply keeping some tree hugging nitwit happy.

On Keystone pipeline, from someone who has worked all sides of the entitlement game. There is a saying that does around, you can have a fast no or a slow yes--which do you want. Business tycoons are notorious for having whims of iron--why can't I have it now--and equally notorious for not listening well. In some arenas that works, in others it gets you the fast no. I already posted the multiple laws that apply--but talking points or snark, not content, is what the troglodytes love.

The libs did not say they want to boycott oil either.
You said that for them and then insulted them because " their " plan is so stupid.
Then they did the same for you with the taxes and you objected to equal treatment.
How bout we all stick to the real opinion of the other guy?

Mr Gybe wont be able to read this Factcheck quote, but if anyone else without his reading comprehension problems is confused about that pipeline.

"as we’ve reported, there’s nothing stopping more Canadian oil from coming into the U.S. right now. Existing cross-border pipelines could carry perhaps 1 million additional barrels of oil per day, and surplus capacity is projected to persist for years to come even without the Keystone project.

Furthermore, Obama hasn’t “blocked” it. The Keystone’s sponsor says it expects the White House to approve the northern leg, from Hardisty, Alberta, to Steele City, Nebraska, in 2013, after it submits an application for a new route around Nebraska’s environmentally sensitive Sandhills region. Meanwhile, it is going ahead with the southern portion, which Obama has endorsed, ordering agencies to expedite permitting."

We have several kids each year who were passed along like Gybe without reading skills. We can help him too if he wants.
First a spelling lesson.

First day of school today. California standards for fourth graders: the ability to accurately cite a source.

Remedial schooling required for several on this forum.

Oh, gee. Ryan's tax plan will reduce Mitt's taxes to something like 1/2%. That must be why Mitt's smiling.

No, of course you guys don't want to not pay taxes. (Sorry about the triple negative -- must confuse you.)

Taxes: Does the name Grover Norquist mean anything to you?

And, of course, the BP oil spill (that was clearly Obama's fault, even though he didn't pull the trigger) could have been avoided if Cheney hadn't waived the requirement for the acoustic emergency shut-off valve.

No, of course you guys don't want to have no regulations. (Sorry again.)

Waiving that acoustic emergency valve made Cheney and all his oil drilling buddies VERY happy.

Were they the tree hugging nitwits you imagine?

Thinks he can tell us all about the Keystone Pipeline but doesn't even know to spell the language of the country he has lived in for years. This from the Belize Tourist Board. What a doofus.

While English is the official language of Belize, Kriol is the language that all Belizeans speak.

mrgybe--do you expect indictments over the fire at Richmond? What do your inside contacts tell you? Kind of silent on all of the things that pig oil does without regulation, eh? How about the break that Sheldon would get on the bribery issue? You got any skin in that game?

What a doofus.
