Certainly a fish with attitude; it is amazing that it will eat with the boats right there ... "I'm going to eat this cute seal .... What are you going to do about it ... Try me"

Nah...we were 500 yards north..... too far away for that fish to swim .....single tack-racetrack ....kneehigh mach 10 runs along a the lip, basically from the nipples thru the ribcage almost to CG proper ....maybe 30 degrees from straight offshore ..... If it was bigger it would have been surreal....
Find out tuesday ..may still need the boat because i think the NPS will still be working....i'm done about 2 on Tues....tide should be ok

Eh, think of it as just some solid motivation to always make your jibes.

our culture's obsession over sharks. just leave it alone, already. keep your eyes open, get on with your lives. if we wipe out sharks and it turns out their guts have the cure for diseases of one sort or another, what are we doing in effect? at least shooting ourselves in the foot?
yup, they certainly are scary. in the rare trial bite, they usually spit us back out. they typically don't like the way we taste? too many whoppers or other junk in our diets? asians usually think we westerners stink of cow.
i've been surfing and windsurfing for nearly 4 decades. i've seen about 10 sharks. BFD.

Sure John.
When they tag 13 great whites on your home break in two months then you can voice your opinion. Who even said anything about killing them?
Not me.
Trust me I would rather cull the human race first.
Why are you such a confrontational dink?
("Did I say that out loud?")
Just wondering?

Shark attacks
According to the International Shark Attack File maintained by the University of Florida, Volusia County had more confirmed shark bites than any other region in the world in 2007.[8] Experts from the University of Florida have referred to the county as having the "dubious distinction as the world's shark bite capital".[9] The trend continued in 2008, during which time the town also it broke its own record, with 24 shark bites.[10]
An Orlando Sentinel photographer filmed a four-foot spinner shark jumping over a surfer, a reversal of jumping the shark.
again, i sail a ton. i get made fun of by folks that have complained about "no wind all summer" that strictly do short board windsurfing. now it's about name calling, and who's confrontational? you guys are sick of hearing about me sailing about on my "bus." i'm pretty sick of others that piss and moan about their world, and don't portray windsurfing as much more than untenable storm sailing.
