Anyone have any recent reports from Roosevelt ? I am wondering how the river is out there with the high water. How about the other gorge launches, which ones are working and which ones are blown out with the water. Thanks all.

I was there Friday-Monday over the memorial day weekend and the water level was not an issue. In fact, when we arrived Friday the water level was low (lots of beach) and it went up the next day but not to the extraordinary levels we are seeing below the Dalles dam.
Also, the current wasn't as strong as I thought it was going to be (John Day dam was spilling like crazy). I guess it's a big wide river out there which spreads out the flow...
It looks like it's ripping out there right now! |

3Mile was also lower than average on Memorial Day weekend, big rocks under the surface made for real shin and fin dangers. |

How about The Wall/Rufus? Last I heard the current made it unrideable. |
