Some of my friends have asked if the this image is photoshopped. No. The shots were taken about 200' west of the Fish Hatchery buildings.The mountain really stands out from that part of the river.

Yea no photoshop. But it is very tricky photography. With a telephoto lens powerful enough to make Mt. Hood look big only about 50 feet of the river is in the photo. Trying to get sailors mid river into that sweet spot which at a 45 degree angle from the camera is hard. It took much arm waving and 300+ shots get some keepers.

Hey Mike,

Awesome photo! Who needs the Rapture? That shot looks like Heaven on Earth! Especially for aficionados of water and snow sports to see both nirvana playgrounds in one frame.

I'm just trolling the northern forum by happenstance. You should post this photo on the southern forum too. Many would appreciate it. Thanks.
