On average, we've turned the corner on water temperatures in the Columbia river, everyday gets warmer from now on!

Meanwhile, the river temp in the corridor is dropping again, thanks, I presume, to snowmelt. Can you imagine having to swim half a mile, or even a kilometer, in 38-degree water if anything breaks?

From your "frowny" icon, I'm guessing a "not" is missing.
Hey, warm counts.

It is always a bummer if you go on a planned vacation and the prime activity is not as hoped or expected. my first month long trip to baja was way more drinking than sailing. My next baja month trip I was more prepared 105L board and a 6.0....still seemingly ended up with more scuba dives and nights in cabo at the bars. After two more baja trips I stick to maui as a destination WS trip. Margarita got better diving than baja and hawaii, I am jealous if it makes you feel any better.

Actually I've sailed 6 out of 6 days so far. BUT my smallest sail that I plannd on was a 6.7 Sad (and usually bigger!) I also had one day with no planing but had a good time with a small sail and big board working on some low wind stuff.

Now if Venezuela would just pay their electric bill so somebody could turn on the wind fans......
