These board questions are tough. Even though I've ridden bunches of boards for a decade for the USMag, methinks the articles never seem to get read thru and thru by all. The blob says some things, but the words are worthy of more notice. Dollars to donuts, the finalk choice is yours. |

I got a 148 techno2 a few years ago. And the best thing I can say about it, is that it reduced my learning curve to the point I am sailing 11o ltr boards.
If you already know how to windsurf, water start and understand the mechanics of a jibe, you really don't need a 160 ltr!!
My 148 techno2 was in the same "taste test" as the Fanatic, Excite and another board. And they came out about the same. Except each board has one or 2 points that were different.
Get a 148ltr!! It's very foregiving and has a better range unless the only sails you use are 7.0 and larger.... |
