I have a rip mast sleeve. Any ideas on how to repair it or what kind of place I can take it to to get it repaired. I live in Kentucky so I expect my options to be limited

If the rip isn't extreme, I'd mark the ends so any spread would be obvious, keep sailing until winter, then send it to a mainland loft, such as Sailworks in Hood River, for repair. If the rip is large, call them to discuss the threat. I've ignored tears of only a few inches for months with no problems.

Thanks Bro. I ignored it at first. After about 2-3 more rigging it got WAY bigger. I talked to guy in Cincinnati today that repairs sails and I think he is going to be able to fix it

I agree with the previous reply. Unlike just about any other part of the sail, you can sail with a ripped luff sleeve, as long as it isn't getting worse (and if it's not near a cam). I've got a sail that's had a ripped luff for the past several years and still haven't gotten around to fixing it. It makes rigging a little bit of a pain, but it sails just fine.
