A Hurricane remnant passed through N.E., and I caught it. A tornado was reported touching down in southern N.H. and one death was a result of this storm which saw some great flatwater blasting for me. However, I had to lay the sail down and sink the board (a 160 liter that flew into the wind twice) while the wind driven rain reached tropical storm speeds. Anyone else out?

haha ya Nantucket was crazy today, with fronts coming through all day. Great 20 knt blasting, strange SE direction. Cant complain about all day on a 4.7.

yeah I drove through all that from 89 in Burlington VT all the way to 91S in Connecticut. Wipers did not keep up with it for quite a while and I was planing left and right (too bad it was in my Civic as opposed to on a board)

Brucie, if this describes your day, then why is your alias "lack of wind"?

Oh, wait. I know. You're Mr. Not-Too-Swift.

Yup, great 20 knot blasting, but I was on an 8.0. The wind would die to practically nothing and at one point it was like a true hurricane i.e. no sail was big enough and you couldn't face the wind driven rain. No sail would have covered the full range of winds.
