I used to use O'Neil Superfreak 1.5mm, but these aren't available anymore. The newer 2mm ones have a seam that hits right on my footstrap and gave me blisters. I've given up on these.
I just got some Neil Pryde 3000 low-top booties that fit like a glove - I like these a lot better. The sole is really thin too - which gives a great feel for the board. They are not available in split-toe, but this has never been a big deal for me.
