Does anyone here know a company that will suck the poo out of a standard toilet in Central Gorge and retrieve a lost watch?
I lost an heirloom while wiping. THIS IS NOT A JOKE! The item is worth nothing to others, however the location is TBA.
I have tried since Sunday to get it out with my mast extension, but it missed the cone of solids and fell into the poo juice. I am only here till June 7.
I will also give a reward to anyone who can get it by other means. |

There should be a service telephone number on the potty. On the Washington side they are serviced by Bishop portipotties out of Goldendale and there is an 800 phone number on them.
If not one of their potties they can probably refer you to the prober Poo people.
Good luck. |

You have got to be kidding. Were you trying to reset the time while you were waiting for something to happen?
Is it made of steel? A strong rectangular bar magnet might be your best hope. I have one. For $50, I will get it out for you. $25 just for trying, $25 more upon success. And if you're female, cute and single, I get a date too. I promise to trim my moustache. |

Sucking poo out of a standard poo-unit (sounds like the weather around here lately!)
What I would do is bend a hook on a coathanger and go fishing.
If you hook something that put's up a big fight, I would "catch and release" it could be tough to fillet.
Have someone you trust hang onto your ankles, some of those holes are deep.
I would use live bait for this, but that makes some people squeamish.
For most people nose plugs may come in handy, this type of fishing can stink.
I would ask the park ranger if you need a fishing license, you can get thrown in jail and fined without one.
Good luck, and remember the happy fisherperson's motto:
"The beauty of nature surrounds you whether you catch one or not" |

The standard method of retrieving anything from an outhouse (as any good farmer knows) is that if what you want to retrieve isn't worth going down for, throw a hundred dollar bill down there and make it worth going down for. Still not worth it? Keep throwing hundreds down the hole and pretty soon it will be! |

Sorry, that's something the late, great isobars would say (this has to be the first one he has ever missed). Is it at The Hatch? Is it a watch? Is it an Omega? Is it on the left side of the poop pillar or on the right? Do you know how deep you pushed it in with the mast extension? What color is the band?

We also need to know poo color, consistency, density, secondary porosity, whether it has corn in it, and liquid limit to assess the resistance of the poo to be stretched out. |
