That rabbit's feet didn't bring him too much luck. Pound for pound, relative to Whitey, I'd have to say that you're right to fear those little vermin. I'm putting the security block in my doggie door tonight. I'll also have tone down on my characteristic warm and fuzziness. Yipes!

The background music was classic.

Thankfully, that's a rhetorical question. I'd really rather not answer it. Crying or Very sad Embarassed Sad

Guys, none of us are pathetic, but I would recommend packing your gear, getting up at dawn and making the drive to the Santa Cruz area:

Holy moly, the shark stuff is hotter than hell. I have to think folks are biting hard on a little imagination.

Sailed really strong 5.0 today, and ultimately got blown off the water. In that wind, even the sharks hang low to keep their fins in the water.

See what happens if you dangle your feet off your board too long?

Gregor, You are a sick puppy to post all those apres-Shark feast photos. Unfortunately, I saw them before beddy-bye last night, and had nightmares. Not quite as vivid as imagining TheQ fighting for his life during a flush at the Leo Bowl, but almost. Now I have to scroll past page one quick. I'd convinced myself that Whitey really only patrols outside the Channel Islands. Self-delusion has always been my weapon against fear.

Sad Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad Crying or Very sad

Yet, wouldn't a kiter be a more likely target? Less foam and debris to work around? Bad attitute? Shark detects simliar DNA?

When I was at UCSB a long time ago, a friend got munched by a Great White while surfing. 225 stitches head to toe after the monster spit him out. Visited him in the hospital (my friend, not the shark). Some things you can't forget. How about some Shark Fin Soup?

TheQ, we need a ballad about sharks! We could have a sing-a-long. Follow the bouncing feet.
