Planning to go to Sandy Hook on Friday afternoon. The forecast says the air temp is going to be in the low 50's. Would a 4/3 suit do for this air temp and the usual mid-october water temp at Sandy Hook?

Please advise... TIA!

Your 4/3 should be more than adequate. Believe it or not, the water is still quite warm, probably around 62-65 degrees and the ocean is even warmer. From the local weather forecasts, they say air temps will likely be in the low 60's as well. Have a great session Friday!

surfed deal last week in boardshorts and a rash guard, water temp is still warm at 67-72, you could get by with a shortie or 3/2, you will be fine/hot in the 4/3
