The Piedras Blancas sensor is reading about half of what the wind speed really is. Is it not possible to calibrate using the government sensor on the lighthouse ?

yes the Piedras Blancas sensor is not working correctly at all.

Go to XtremeBigAir.com and click on Kiteboarding Webcams
from there, you can select the Pico Creek/San Simeon wind and it is a little bit more accurate

Thanks for the tip on XtremeBigAir.com. I was just up at Piedras Blancas yesterday and it was blowing 5.0 or more and the readout said that the wind was barely 15 knots. Somethings off. Who do we notiify at I windsurf?

I passed the word on to Stuart so he can get on the schedule to look at.
