Point Isabel needs a windsensor on the bird cage--one like the 3rd Ave Channel sensor on the channel marker.
Yesterday (the day it came back online) I was nicely powered on my 4.1 (it was windier on the Marina Bay side) and today I was op'ed on my 5.1 in reasonably steady wind. You'd never guess that from either of the days' graphs.
However, today I did experience the same thing that the sensor experienced. During the time on the graph that the wind was high, I was able to jibe powered up in the cove above the radio station next to the water treatment plant. During the time on the graph that the wind looks low, it wasn't very windy that far in.
Does anyone know how the 3rd folks got their remote sensor and can the Isabel folks get one, too? |

I agree a sensor there would be really nice, but while you were out enjoying your 4.1
in July, this option was discussed on another thread:
