Hello All, I am interested in finding a good place to sail on western cape cod. Ideally I would like to find a spot that would make a good weekend trip from the albany new york area and would have a place to camp at for a night or two. Any suggestions? |

There are so many good places to sail on the cape depending on wind direction, type of sailing you like to do and time of year. If you do an online search you can find a couple of guides. I dont know about campsites. This is probably the most popular launch- Kalmus Beach in Hyannis- good in prevailing southwest, usually has the best summer winds, shallow at low tide, some chop hopping, beginners to experts, weed fin preferred. |
