Could you give me the phone number you call at each of those places before you stop by?
What? You get info supposedly from those places by listening to media outlets?
You have frequently named Fox and Talk as the main outlets.
This conversation started with you trumpeting Hannity the fount of great media outlet wisdom |

"The IPCC's approach of seeking consensus obscures and constricts both scientific and wider social debates about both knowledge-driven and value-driven uncertainties that surround climate change politics."
I agree. Fact based science has always constricted social debates.
A good example is the civil rights movement and the science behind racial inferiority.
Many fact based scientists were executed or banished when the truth constricted profits or returns in the collection plate. You know, earth is round -stars are far away suns.....
The idea that sex causes babies is actually quite recent. They believed God put babies there and reviled those fact based fools who disagreed.
Why does the man want social issues to be a factor in the question of weather?
When we teach science we never check what the politicians want to be true. We go with fact based.
.....uncertainties that surround climate change politics.....
The key word in this is politics. He doesn't seem to be talking about science. He clearly is speaking of climate politics |

mrgybe makes much of the question of consensus in the IPPC efforts. I wonder if he has ever reach any of Roger Pielke's work? Roger, a long time critic of the IPPC from a libertarian slant has much to say, and of much value, both in projections and in the governance structure. Pielke is not a climate scientist, but neither denies the evidence of warming or the links to CO2 emissions from fossil fuels. His work is heavy on both the magnitude of the problem in changing this, and the economic stakes. A bit of an idealogue, but not a pimp for industry.
On the other hand, with have the Cato Institute and the Heritage Foundation, and the Mercatus Center, all funded by the Koch's and oil money.
A more nuanced analysis mrgybe, rather than flacking for the industry? |

MIKIE, Mikie, mikie,
How do you justify telling everyone "You guys need to pay less attention to Wikipedia and more to the real world" and then advocate watching Hannity then "Googlng" to support your warped views of the "real world"?
You really ARE stuck in that entitlement bubble that needs to be cleaned from the inside out.
such a pity |

Follow the money. All of Mike's sources are funded by, yes, "pig" oil. |

Anyone count the number of newly blank e mail iso has? When he says something completely wrong or deeply offensive or hateful he edits it out later and denies it.
Not the sort of thing the windsurfer of the year should do. It sullies his public image. |

Or it was duplicate.
Don't you realize how transparent your attempts to get PLONKed are? |

isobars can't "PLONK" keycocker. The poor fool needs to see someone on his computer.
It's my thought that jimyjak will join us on the censored team long before keycocker will. It not that keycocker isn't worthy of joining the team, not by a long shot, as he has dished out some heavy hits to isobars' ego over time. Of course, we're never quite sure what the future will bring. |

The irony here is that Isobars refusal to actually respond is the essence of censorship. He will neither respond to criticism, or cite his sources. But he then insists that Fox news, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Republican Party, is the font of wisdom. When caught in a whopper, he plonks. |

Do you guys read his posts? I do sometimes but mostly just pass.
He thinks I live for him and his nonsense and somehow care if he reads me or not.
Most of you he pretends to censor for one reason only- because you look up his references and make him look foolish. You still do that but he can pretend he doesn't hear you so that makes him right.
I don't commit this sin so he still pretends to read my posts but clearly can't understand what he reads.
My uncles listen to talk as much as Iso but they have at least an 8th grade education so they laugh about how silly some of it is, and pay attention when Beck says
"don't believe this stuff." |
