I think you have a great set up for learning! An sup with a sail is very stable and easy to learn on, unlike the long skinny boards of the antiquity.
This is one addicting and FUN sport! I always feel "recharged" after some time on the water, very invigorating! Go where the others who windsurf are. As others have mentioned Kalmus and West Dennis are great spots that always have others when there is some wind. The Cape is a great location for windsurfing because no matter which way the wind is blowing,you can always find a good spot within a short drive.
Oh yea, a lesson or two is a great idea. A good investment that will speed your learning curve. |
