Lotsa pictures of van interiors in a previous thread on this topic. Try a few keywords and those threads should pop up.

Nice van. From the picture attached, your sail appears to have far too much outhaul. FWIW.

And not enough down haul. The first batten above the boom is clearly poking out past the mast & it appears the second is as well.

|
|
I've sold my Chevy van, and removed the interior. If anyone is interested in having it, sent me a PM.
Custom interior originally designed and used for windsurfing, but very capable and well suited for surfing too. Custom made welded stainless steel racks mounted to the van body and structure of the vehicle. A 3/4” birch plywood structure and storage unit exists under the rack. In addition, there is a 3/4” birch plywood elevated platform on the passenger side of the vehicle for sleeping above, and with significant storage below. Access below is provided with a large SS piano hinged door that latches down firmly with a brass marine quality product. The gap or space between structures is sufficient for accommodating bicycles or other items of similar height or more.
Regarding the structure under the SS rack, the large upper cavity is finished in fiberglass and epoxy, so that it’s impervious to water and any related damage. It’s perfect for wet items like sails, kites, and wetsuits.
Everything is based on the mounting to a 1/2” plywood floor, which is not included, but I can provide photos for reference. In addition, I can provide a wealth of photos that cover the detail levels of installation and assembly.
It is important to note that the level of the passenger side platform and the lowest rung level of the SS rack is perfectly aligned for carrying 4x8 sheets of plywood or other similar sized lumber.
Again, everything is designed and based on use in Chevy Express or GMC Savana vans. That would cover 1997 to present vans. Mine was a 1997 Chevy 2500.

Double thumbs up for those SS racks. Nicest rack installation i've ever seen!
