My buddy and i where at Black Butte Lake yesterday and it rocked like no other. We where lit on 9 meter kites the wind was 15-25 gust to 30 temp was 84, sand beaches, i thought i was in Mexico.Go to the north side of the lake [ Buckhorn entrance] on this side of the lake on a north wind, the wind will blow off shore so you will have flat water riding. One great aspect of flat water is that for my banged up knees its the best. Also it was real easy to set up a good edge for huge air and if you where able to find a great gust you could go to the moon, not to mention 10 ft before you land you could crank down on your bar for a mock five landing in smooth water. When the north wind blows i will see you at Black Butte Lake. " Dangerous Dan" |
