Hi people - I'm thinking about going to Boanire last week of December-first week of January...
I know that many of you are regulars there, so I would appreciate some input about the usual:
Where to stay (me and my non-windsurfing girlfriend)
Where to rent
Is it true that there are waves outside the reef?
Thank you in advance for any tip, advice, warning...
See you out there,
Juan
PS: If you have other spot that you think I should check out, let me know |

Been there for NY. Hope you like fireworks. You'll see what I mean. If you don't stay away from downtown, it gets crazy with unrestricted use of the aforementioned.
Stay at Belmar for your GF's sake. If you can afford it, get one of the penthouses. They're incredible.
Rent from Jibe City or Bonaire Windsurf Place. Both about the same, make your choice based on the brands they carry. They will not let you take their gear outside the reef.
By all means, contact Ann Phelan at www.bonairecaribbean.com. She's the expert for windsurfing on Bonaire.
