Yes, I think it is a great idea.
I used to race catamarans and there was a guy that did it at the big regattas. people loved it and bought pics to save digitally and also bought
prints too of course.
There is a way to post them onto a site so people can view and order.
I would support your business, I rarely get pics since I'm sailing or
all my buddies are too which I'm sure is the case with most other people too.
You could get together an email list of people that are interested or just
post on the forum that you took some pics at such and such a place
and post a link!

Great idea, I was thinking on Sunday and Monday if I was a photographer
it would be a great part time biz to post pics for purchase on epic days.

| Frogmen make great photos? What kind of drugs do you guys use? >> July 9th a 4.5-5-0 day.<<, I checked my blog and can't imagine there was anyone out on those size sails. This guy doesn't look like a wimp, either. Put up a photo of a woman sailing with nothing more than a waist harness and you might pick up some business here.

Brucie, keep in mind that "USvile" and "board07" were evicted and all posts deleted from from the boards.co.uk forum for some kind of inane comment about drugs.

Thanks for everyone that's contacted me to get photographed!
For those who have asked and other budding photographers who are interested, all digital photos have "EXIF" embedded in them that show when they were taken, the time, and all camera settings. Try right clicking on the images in my post and save it to your desktop. Then open the image with your photo viewing program, in the menus go to "Get Info" or "File Info" and you'll see the details of any image taken with a digital camera. I've attached an example of what the Exif settings might look like in your photo program. This will work with just about any photo posted in this forum. The attached example shows date taken, ISO, focal length, etc.
