Good windsurfing omens

Tuesday morning, I opened the SF chronicle and looked at the weather section. Up in the top corner, where Roberta Gonzales has her little weather factoid of the day, she explained why it gets windy and said windy days are in our future or something to that effect.

Later, I stopped at a taqueria for lunch and opened up the Pacific Sun. In the trivia quiz, was a question: Name 4 popular sports that begin with W. The answer was Weightlifting, Wrestling, Waterpolo and... Windsurfing. I guess it is popular after all.

Wednesday I sailed 4 hours at Tomales on a 5.0. Not a classic Tomales day, but who needs a 3.5 day first nice day of spring? Water was warm, sun shined all day. Could be a great season.
