even the Washington post is run from the top by a life long right winger.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-was-miffed-at-reagan-library-for-not-inviting-him-to-speak-it-s-one-reason-he-nixed-debates-report/ar-AA1aExGc?cvid=885e082a6e404bef9bb3ca688e14680d&ocid=winp2fptaskbarhover&ei=15

Trump was miffed at Reagan Library for not inviting him to speak — it's one reason he nixed debates: report

Quote:

NBC News confirmed on Tuesday that Donald Trump was out when it comes to the Republican Party debates. But according to The Washington Post, one of the key reasons is the Ronald Reagan Library.

Reagan may still be one of the biggest names in Republican Party politics, but not to Trump.

Publicly, Trump claimed he doesn't trust the Reagan Library because one of the 23 members of the Board of Trustees is Frederick Ryan Jr., who once served as an adviser to Reagan. He also happens to be the publisher for The Washington Post, owned by Jeff Bezos, one of Trump's nemeses.

“I would not go there when he is the chairman,” Trump ranted in a radio interview.

DEA: More than 3,000 arrested in massive drug bust

Quote:

(NewsNation) — The Drug Enforcement Agency on Friday announced the results of an operation targeting fentanyl and methamphetamine trafficking driven by the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels.

Operation Last Mile was a yearlong operation targeting cartel-driven drug trafficking within the U.S.

“The results of this operation – over 3,000 arrests and the seizure of almost 44 million fentanyl pills – demonstrate the Justice Department’s unrelenting commitment to working with our state and local partners to keep fentanyl out of our communities and save American lives,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said.

lets see if the media puts this front page...

again trump just convicted of sexual assault unanimously in a civil case in record setting time of a few hours...

Now a case that was dropped because of threats that was filed before the 2016 election, with was it 2 or three sworn statements to the court that trump who said anyone who lies about me I will go after them and he never filed a defamation lawsuit. and as he puts it He has the money to sue and has sues more people than anyone in the history of mankind.

Well here is the case again in the headlines of just one media...

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/lawsuit-accusing-trump-of-raping-a-13-year-old-girl-reemerges-after-trump-loses-case-against-e-jean-carroll/ar-AA18DunI?ocid=winp2fptaskbarhover&cvid=2124c9bed0534644a235b8bb9fc963a3&ei=83

Lawsuit Accusing Trump of Raping a 13-Year-Old Girl Reemerges After Trump Loses Case Against E. Jean Carroll

Quote:
E. Jean Carroll’s case against Donald Trump ended with the jury finding the former president liable for assault and defamation. The civil lawsuit brought up another alleged story on the surface.

Carroll, in her lawsuit, alleged that Trump raped her in a New York City department store in the 90s. However, she sued over calling her “a liar.”

One lawsuit never got enough attention and was quickly dropped since the alleged victim was a 13-year-old virgin.

The charges were dropped in 2016, and the woman remained Jane Doe or Katie Johnson, likely her real name. However, the severity of this case was never truly examined since the elections occupied the media.

Wild and Graphic Accusations
The initial allegations, brought by attorney Lisa Bloom claimed Johnson was violently raped in 1994. The assault allegedly happened when the 13-year-old attended org..s organized by Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein allegedly lured Johnson by promising her a modeling career. In the withdrawn lawsuit, Johnson claimed she met Trump four times.

One encounter was described as a “savage sexual attack.” Allegedly, Johnson “loudly pleaded” for the former president to stop when he started “violently striking Plaintiff in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.”

In the allegations, Jane Doe said she was not allowed to tell anyone or would disappear like Maria. She explained that Maria was a 12-year-old girl also allegedly violated by Trump, never to be seen again.

The name of Maria Doe remains unknown.

Epstein Was Not Happy
Johnson also alleged that Epstein complained, “I should have been 1st.”

Before the elections, at least 15 women came with similar stories about the former president. There were also alleged witnesses, Tiffany Doe and Joan Doe.

Joan Doe was Johnson’s classmate, and she learned about the alleged events as they happened. Tiffany Doe alleged that she saw the assault.

This whole story was not just overlooked, but it also brought some bizarre characters. There was a video of “Katie,” but it turned out to be Norm Lubow, a former producer on the Jerry Springer show, as Vox reported.

Trump’s Friendship With Epstein
It is well known that Trump was on friendly terms with Epstein. In the Access Hollywood tape used in the defamation trial, he infamously said, “Grab them by the pu…y.”

Trump called it “locker-room talk.”

Radar Online alleges that Epstein’s brother said that Epstein wanted to distance himself from Trump. The reason was that Epstein thought Trump was a “crook.”

The former president and Epstein, convicted of soliciting minors, started hanging out in the late 80s or early 90s. They ran in the same social circles, and Trump infamously told New York magazine, “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it-Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

Other allegations of abusing minors showed during Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial.

Trump’s Suggestive Post
Ironically or not, Trump suggested DeSantis was “grooming” underage girls in his post on Truth Social.

Someone shared an image on Truth Social, writing, “Here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher.” Trump reshared the picture, writing, “That’s not Ron. He would never do such a thing!”

It is clear why these allegations reappeared. Not only is Trump was Trump found liable in the defamation case, but the claims made by Johnson were dropped only a few days before the 2016 elections.

And with these allegations, many raised questions about the Clintons and Epstein. But this is where the story ends, for now.

well we see abused power when the right have their way. Remeber the donald knows all the best people... you lied...

Federal Inquiry Finds Trump-Appointed CEO Abused Power at Voice of America
Story by Peter Wade • 4h ago

Quote:

A federal inquiry has found numerous incidents of wrongdoing by a Trump appointee who served as CEO of the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees Voice of America, including attempting to force out agency executives for their political believes.

The Office of Special Counsel found that “during his less-than-eight-month tenure CEO [Michael] Pack was responsible for numerous improper activities,” including “abuse of authority, gross mismanagement, a gross waste of funds, or a violation of law, rule, or regulation.” The OSC’s report concluded that Pack “abused his authority and retaliated against career USAGM executives who engaged in whistleblowing.”

The day following his confirmation as CEO of USAGM, Pack and a career employee met to decide which executives to target based on their perceived political beliefs. In a memo, an employee wrote about the alleged beliefs of the senior leaders at Voice of America, according to NPR. “Hates Republicans,” the employee said of one senior leader. “Openly despises Trump and Republicans,” the memo described another. The memo alleged that a third senior leader “is not on the Trump team.”

As CEO, Park rescinded the security clearances of six members of USAGM’s Senior Executive Service. After the suspensions, Pack “then hired a private law firm to provide post-hoc justifications” for his actions, the report said. It further alleges Pack suspended security clearances, rather than removing the executives in other ways, in order to “circumvent otherwise available procedural protections and legal restrictions on removal of executives.”

USAGM has oversight of Voice of America and other broadcast outlets, including Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Radio Free Asia, that are funded by the federal government. These outlets are designed to bring news to nations where a free press is repressed or not financially viable.

OSC found that Pack interfered with independent journalism at Voice of America and other outlets he oversaw; retaliated against executives who filed whistleblower complaints; and mismanaged and wasted funds by paying $1.6 million in a confidential, no-bid contract to a Virginia law firm to investigate USAGM executives. Pack also “restricted employee communications with outside parties [and] failed to exempt legally protected disclosures.”

Park, in an interview with The Federalist quoted by NPR, said that his decisions were made “to drain the swamp, to root out corruption and to deal with these issues of bias.”

Under Siege CNN Boss Chris Licht Told Donald Trump to 'Have Fun' Before Packed MAGA Town Hall

Quote:

Chris Licht told Donald Trump to "have fun" before the network's controversial town hall for the republican presidential candidate in May.

In the recent profile of the CNN CEO, journalist Tim Alberta got to the bottom on the network's decision to give the polarizing politician a platform and how the crowd was filled with MAGA supporters.

According to Alberta, Licht knew the audience would have Trump's die-hard fans rather than the "GOP-leaning independents" CNN advertised to its watchers. The executive reportedly even commented on the crowd being "extra Trumpy" for the television event.

Alberta also uncovered that Licht told reporters working that night, "the way to deal with a bully like Trump … was to confront him with facts."

The overall strategy for the town hall was to regain moderate viewers Licht believes CNN lost due to their harsh coverage of Trump.

Licht allegedly told employees that the network had "lost its way under former president Jeff Zucker." He also claimed CNN’s reporting on the former commander-in-chief "alienated a broader viewership that craved sober, fact-driven coverage."

ultra partisan right wingers Zell Zell and new york billionaire buy and want to buy or control more media

was a right winger... below article was from 2007.

https://publicintegrity.org/inequality-poverty-opportunity/in-political-contributions-zell-leans-right-and-wife-leans-left/

In political contributions, Zell leans right and wife leans left

Quote:
Samuel Zell, real estate mogul, billionaire and the prospective new owner of the Tribune Co., has given more than $100,000 in political contributions since the 1998 election cycle, most of it supporting Republican causes according to an analysis of Federal Election Commission records by the Center for Public Integrity.

His wife Helen, however, stands on the other side of the political divide, giving almost entirely to Democrats and abortion rights groups. Together, the Zells give generously to candidates from both political parties.

Samuel Zell, 65, a native Chicagoan who built his fortune in real estate, landed an $8.2 billion private bid for the Tribune Co., one of the country’s top media companies whose holdings include leading daily newspapers such as The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The (Baltimore) Sun, 23 television stations and the cable Superstation WGN. Tribune Co. announced the deal on Monday.

The Center’s Media Tracker offers users a complete list of Tribune media properties, as well as political contributions by the company and its employees.

Zell is one of the 400 richest Americans, with an estimated net worth of $4.5 billion, according to Forbes.com.

A New York supermarket billionaire said he wants to buy CNN and that he just wants $1 per year for it

Quote:

New York supermarket billionaire John Catsimatidis said he wants to buy CNN, per the New York Post.
"I'd go run the place tomorrow morning, and all I'd want is $1 per year and a piece of the upside," he said.
Catsimatidis — an outspoken Trump supporter — has a net worth of $4.1 billion, per Forbes.

Kellye Sorelle, a lawyer for the Oath Keepers militia who has herself been hit with conspiracy charges for her role in the deadly Jan. 6 riots at the United States Capitol building, has been ordered hospitalized so she could undergo mental health examinations.

As flagged by CBS News' Scott MacFarlane, Judge Amit Mehta on Tuesday formally declared that Sorelle was not competent enough to stand trial for her alleged crimes.

"The Court finds by a preponderance of evidence that Defendant is presently suffering from a mental health disease or defect rendering her mentally incompetent, to the extent that she is unable to understand the nature and consequences of the proceedings against her or to assist properly in her defense," wrote Mehta.

The judge then ruled that Sorelle "shall be committed to the custody of the Attorney General for treatment in a suitable mental facility for the purposes of competency restoration."

IN OTHER NEWS: 'Never seen anything like it': Investigative reporter says Trump's Oman deal is without precedent

Sorelle was charged last year with conspiracy and obstruction, as prosecutors alleged that she attempted to “corruptly persuade other persons” to withhold evidence from a grand jury investigating the Capitol riots.

Multiple members of the Oath Keepers have been found guilty of seditious conspiracy for plotting to block the certification of the 2020 election by storming the United States Capitol.

I doubt this will make the right wing owned media...

https://edition.cnn.com/videos/politics/2023/07/03/trump-president-indictment-kfile-sot-cnc-vpx.cnn

Hear what Trump said in 2016 about a president under indictment

Quote:

Former President Donald Trump said in 2016 that a president under indictment would "cripple the operations of our government" and create an "unprecedented constitutional crisis" -- years before he himself was indicted on federal charges while running for a second term as president. CNN's Andrew Kaczynski has the details.

Trump-supporting Ohio lawyer admits voting twice in past elections: 'Accidents do happen'

Brad Reed
July 13, 2023, 11:22 AM ET

Quote:

An attorney in Ohio who has donated money to former President Donald Trump acknowledged this week that he double-voted in past elections, but he says he only did so accidentally.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that 56-year-old James Saunders illegally voted twice in two separate locations: Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and Broward County, Florida.

However, an attorney representing Saunders told a court this week that his client should be acquited because he only did this "by accident."

"Mistakes do happen, accidents do happen," Scott Roger Hurley argued.

However, Andrew Rogalski countered that Saunders had not just double-voted in one election, but in two: The 2020 presidential election and the 2022 midterm election.

What's more, prosecutors have evidence that Saunders cast his ballot in person in both states, which makes it difficult to believe he simply absentmindedly sent in ballots by mail.

"The fact that you do that in consecutive general elections I think takes ‘accident’ to the land of imaginary doubt, and not reasonable doubt," he retorted.

Former President Donald Trump is still blaming "voter fraud" for his defeat in the 2020 presidential election. Although there is no evidence to show there was any fraud significant to shift the election, individual cases of voter fraud -- many of which were allegedly perpetrated by Trump supporters -- are prosecuted every year.

And here the a producer instructs the cast of SNL to make trump more likable is their job...... can you imagine the right wing headlines if a producer said to do this for a liberal.... front page everywhere.

Lorne Michaels Apparently Spoke To The SNL Cast About Content Related To Donald Trump

Quote:

Speaking alongside Deadline, Taran Killam made quite the reveal. It is said that Lorne Michaels attempted to reshape the perception of Trump, attempting to make the President likable. Suddenly, there were boundaries regarding Trump content.

“Lorne was being so specific about what we could and couldn’t say about [Trump], and he was dictating a lot of the settings. Lorne was like, ‘It’ll be too old news by then, and you know, you don’t want to vilify him. He’s like any New York taxi driver. I know him, I’ve seen him around at parties for years and years, and he just says whatever it is he’s thinking. And that’s his thing. But you have to find a way in that makes him likable.’”

Anthony Jeselnik also voiced concerns in the past, particularly when Trump got to host an episode of SNL. “It was two rich guys helping each other out. I don’t know how I would have dealt with it if I was on the show. I found it to be, quite frankly, revolting," the comedian revealed.

Despite the concerns, SNL clearly did not cool down on content related to Trump - nor does that seem33 to23 be the plan pertaining to other political figures.

where is the right wing media covering this front page...

again if I owned a media i would be playing this front page and over and over like the non-news worthy Dr. Howard Dean isolated mic... what a metaphor..

Many of the other Kennedys have also come out publicly which is rare for them. but that too no front pages from the media...

https://www.salon.com/2023/07/21/i-have-something-to-say-jfks-grandson-rips-rfk-jr-in-rare-public-statement/

"I have something to say": JFK’s grandson rips RFK Jr. in rare public statement

Quote:
In a rare public statement, JFK's grandson, Jack Schlossberg — son of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg — is sounding off against RFK Jr., using the opportunity to officially endorse Joe Biden in the 2023 presidential election.

In a video posted to Instagram, Schlossberg drops the C-Word (Camelot), all but casting his anti-vaxx, conspiracy theorist of a relative out of the kingdom. Read his full statement below:

President John F. Kennedy is my grandfather, and his legacy is important. It's about a lot more than Camelot and conspiracy theories. It's about public service and courage. It's about civil rights, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and landing a man on the moon. Joe Biden shares my father's vision for America, that we do things not because they are easy, but because they are hard. And he is in the middle of becoming the greatest progressive president we've ever had.

Under Biden, we've added 13 million jobs, unemployment is at its lowest in 60 years. Biden passed the largest investment in infrastructure since the New Deal and the largest investment in green energy ever. He's appointed more federal judges than any president since my grandfather. He ended our longest war. He ended the COVID pandemic, and he ended [former President] Donald Trump. These are the issues that matter. And if my cousin, Bobby Kennedy Jr., cared about any of them, he would support Joe Biden too.

Instead, he's trading in on Camelot, celebrity conspiracy theories and conflict for personal gain and fame. I've listened to him. I know him. I have no idea why anyone thinks he should be president. What I do know is his candidacy is an embarrassment. Let's not be distracted again by somebody's vanity project. I'm excited to vote for Joe Biden in my state's primary, and again in the general election. And I hope you will too.
