Still some breeze left for foiling anyways at Berkeley.
Today we got a couple hours in starting at 3, was stronger when we came in at 5:15.
I winged maybe 23 of the past 30 days, at 155 lbs. Only 2 days were sub 15 in the gusts.
Hope everyone is doing well.

4.5/90L FSW in Alameda (165lbs.) with 20mph solid, gusting almost 30.
WNW clearing wind with some nice rollers outside.
Sailing a yellow Ezzy.
Who else was there? What were you guys on?
(plenty kiters, some wingers, but at least 5 sailors. Which is a lot, nowadays...)

Monday 11/28: 6.0/120L Freeride in Alameda (165lbs.) with +/- 16mph, and some generous gusts. Sailing a green Ezzy.
Nice temperature (better than Spring Crissy...)
Pt. Isabel was blowing 20+, but I didn't have smaller gear and no one was there.
All the Alameda foiling and non foiling kiters out. 2 wings.
Who else sailed? WHERE ARE THE SAILORS?

The only time of year we get to brag in San Diego - side-shore, overhead + peeling sets, 15-20 mph, 6 wave sailors (mostly 105L/6.3). No kites - kiting has really declined here due to winging I guess.

Great conditions at Tomales on Tuesday 4/6 a couple days ago. Rick, Alex and I enjoyed sub-4.0 conditions on 4.0-4.2. And a couple wingers. What an epic place to sail. Saw a couple kiters too near Millerton on the drive up to grassy point.

Tough to find wind in Santa Cruz on the 4th of July, but a couple of windsurfers found a little in the inner bay of Monterey Bay off of The Hook. See pic below:

Got lucky with a right place, right time, right tide movement combo upwind of brooks island today. A little work was required to get above the island from point isabel as a finger of fog streamed over brooks island towards the launch. On the north side of the fog finger and on the windward side of the island, a golden sunny hue reflected off the surface of the water, and consistent strong wind imparted a dreamy texture onto the smooth water and steep 2-3 foot swell. Enjoyed a couple hours of solo bliss overpowered on 4.5/85L. This was probably my 100th venture above the island and by far the stand out session.
