Chance of big wind tommrow 9/10/2022
Charts showing over 25 and the temp should be
down to tolerable levels to.
Leading edge of storm front may make it Gusty maybe.

5 besides myself at the tree launch .
Dennis and Adrian amoung them.
When I got there is was 25 gusting to 40 which made
me put a 4.2 where a 5 something would have been better most
of the afternoon.
Water level high with evidence it had been real high.
Up and down and generally decreasing plus gusty .
Two Wing Dingers launched from the channel point at the damm outlet/inlet
and they were doing OK most of the time much to my surprise.

Windsurfed O'Neill Forebay at San Luis Reservoir today. Sailed my 7.0. Only other non-fisherman who showed up was this little one.

How was it .
It looked like it was raging Saturday.
I was still getting over a cold or maybe I would have tried it.

I was on my way there Saturday when I checked the conditions again and saw that the conditions were exceeding the forecast. not having a small enough sail and suffering sciatica, I altered course back to home.
Yesterday, the winds were less than predicted, but good enough to be planing most of the time with my 7.0. Air was 77 degrees when I left, water was warm. Weeds were not too bad. A lot of algae packed into the launch path that was icky to wade through. Did catch a few strands of weeds on my fin at times. I need to redo the fill in the gap of the top of the leading edge of my wave/weed fin. Lake level was good. I did hit my fin on a gravel bar off of the launch once, but I believe the level was over 221 feet.
