| Hiding documents and telling the FBI that they had returned all the documents. The lawyers that signed those claims—the designated felons—are probably very pissed at the moment. Christina Bobb is either toast, or a witness to someone that is toast. Lock him up. |

FBI reportedly examines yet another Mar-a-Lago security breakdown
| Quote: | Part of what makes Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago scandal so serious is the fact that the former president allegedly took highly sensitive national security secrets and didn’t want to give them back. But another part of the controversy is where, exactly, the Republican kept the classified materials he wasn’t supposed to have.
In fact, the more we learn about the glorified country club’s security, the easier it is to understand why the Justice Department and other federal agencies were so concerned.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Organized Crime Corruption and Reporting Project published a stunning report today on a young woman named Inna Yashchyshyn, who presented herself as Anna de Rothschild, and who boasted about her wealth, roots to a European banking dynasty, and developing ambitions.
A pivotal moment for the woman who was fluent in several languages took place last year when she was invited to Mar-a-Lago, where she mingled with former President Donald Trump’s supporters and showed up the next day for a golf outing with Mr. Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham among other political luminaries.
The entire article, which has not been independently verified by MSNBC or NBC News, is well worth your time, in part because it reads like the script of a movie about an amazing ruse.
But it’s also especially relevant right now given the ongoing scandal surrounding the former president’s property. The report notes that this woman — with “a fake identity and shadowy background” — allegedly bypassed the security at Mar-a-Lago with relative ease
The FBI has reportedly begun an inquiry into the matter, and “at least three people who live in South Florida said they have been interviewed by FBI agents in the past seven months about Ms. Yashchyshyn’s activities.” The Post-Gazette added:
Her entry — multiple trips in and out of the club grounds — lays bare the vulnerabilities of a facility that serves as both the former president’s residence and a private club, and highlights the gaps in security that can take place. “That’s his residence,” said Ed Martin, a former U.S. Treasury special agent who spent more than two decades in criminal intelligence. “She shouldn’t have been in there.”
A club guest told the newspaper, “What I’m trying to understand is how did they allow this? How could someone keep coming back — at that level? This is Mar-a-Lago.”
Well, yes, and therein lies the point.
Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, who actually chaired the Senate Homeland Security Committee for six years, downplayed the seriousness of Trump’s scandal last week because, as the Wisconsinite put it, Mar-a-Lago is “a pretty safe place” and “a secure location.”

But as we discussed soon after, there’s overwhelming evidence to the contrary. In 2017, for example, just months into Trump’s presidency, Politico reported, “President Donald Trump relishes the comforts of his Mar-a-Lago estate for repeated weekends away from Washington, but former Secret Service and intelligence officials say the resort is a security nightmare vulnerable to both casual and professional spies.”
A few months later, ProPublica tested security measures at the private club and marveled at how vulnerable it was. The piece quoted one cybersecurity expert who said hackers could use Mar-a-Lago’s network to remotely turn on the microphones and cameras of devices connected to the network. “What you’re describing is typical hotel security,” he said, but “it’s pretty concerning” that an attacker could listen to sensitive national security conversations.
A year later, according to a Miami Herald report, a college kid visiting his grandparents in Palm Beach over Thanksgiving snuck through a tunnel that connects Mar-a-Lago’s beach club with the main property. “I wanted to see how far I could get,” he told a judge.
A year after that, a Chinese citizen was allowed to enter Mar-a-Lago because part of her name matched that of a member of the club. As Rachel noted on the show, the woman was carrying four cell phones, an external hard drive, a laptop, and a thumb drive that the Secret Service discovered was infected with some sort of malware — all while the sitting president was on the premises.
The year after Trump left the White House — but while he continued to hold onto classified materials — Yashchyshyn allegedly finagled her way into the club, several times, and managed to hang out with the former president and a sitting Republican U.S. senator.
This is the venue where Trump kept highly classified national security secrets that he wasn’t supposed to have. |

Being half deaf from birth I have never liked music. I have always listened to news and later politics in the background like others listen to music. I get to work and listen to the news very nice... benefit to being VP of engineering and later having your own business.
multitask in other words. and much more efficient than anyone here with cut and paste, have a incredible app that does it fast. Ya sometimes in a cell phone those little buttons kind of suck though.
anyway here was an opinion i found but cannot verify. Have just found 2-3 examples so far, but to assume with the light sentence the Chinses female spy with the thumb drive that was weaponized and a russian speaking female that all kinds of people donating getting close meetings and unsupervised at mara loco well only a idiot would believe these 2-3 so far were the only attempts by foreign enemies.
Fourteen people with fake backgrounds who have been regular visitors to Mar-a-Lago are being tracked by law enforcement in the effort to define how much damage Trump has done to the nation.

Some of these are still on US soil, but some have fled. Further, these people gained access to not just Trump and his document packed house, but because of their big number donations were found to have had private meetings, meals, golf tournaments, and Florida tours from a range of GOP luminaries whose identities are being kept secret even though the faces of both the luminaries and the suspicious people are beings flagged and revealed by Trump watchers in the social media world.
Various security agencies cannot even guarantee that young women posing as donors did not provide more than just money to the president. It is known Trump has a weakness for young women, although he has never done more than grope or fondle anyone below the age of consent. he is especially enamored and hits on Russian women. More than one person who fits this description has spent the night in Mar-a-Lago without vetting by the secret service.
When will this hit the press? Reporters say that revelations are coming, but may take time. Trump is not cooperating with the FBI and has supposedly been communicating with security agencies based in other nations about increasing his personal security, angry that the Secret Service did not protect his home from the FBI. It is highly unlikely Trump can get foreign security units permission to operate on foreign soil, and Wagner Group has been rebuffed as a possible provider for Trump security, but G4S and IISS Guardian may begin to provide Trump at some point security which he feels will not back down to local law enforcement or the FBI if issues get tough, and won't require he coordinate who he speaks with or limit his communication with supporters in Russia, China, and other nations.
I am not sure about a lot of this because it comes under “drop dead before telling anyone” and probably no one should be chattering on social media about any of this, but I expect media coverage on some of this soon. |

According to the filing, the Aug. 8 raid led to the discovery of 13 more boxes of material at Mar-a-Lago, containing 100 additional classified documents, including “CONFIDENTIAL” and “TOP SECRET” designations. Three classified documents were found in the desk of Trump’s personal office. Some of the documents contained a HCS/HUMINT control system designations, which serves to protect sensitive information from human sources. The findings directly contradict assertions (and a sworn affidavit) from Trump’s legal team in June that no documents remained at Mar-a-Lago.
The DOJ also revealed that some of the material collected at Mar-a-Lago was so sensitive that it required investigators to seek additional security clearances before being able to review it. |

The DOJ filing suggests that Trump and his team may have tried to mislead investigators when Trump attorney Christina Bobb signed a document affirming that all classified documents sought by the National Archives had been returned.

The filing detailed extensive efforts to recover the documents that led investigators to believe that "government records were likely concealed and removed … and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government's investigation."
Agents during the August 8 Mar-a-Lago search found material so sensitive that "even the FBI counterintelligence personnel and DOJ attorneys conducting the review required additional clearances before they were permitted to review certain documents," according to the filing.

The filing also includes a written document signed by Bobb affirming that Trump had turned over all relevant documents in response to a grand jury subpoena seeking records he withheld after turning over 15 boxes of materials to the National Archives earlier this year. When the FBI searched the property, they found more than 100 more classified documents, which "calls into serious question the representations made in the June 3 certification and casts doubt on the extent of cooperation in this matter," the filing said.
The filing said that agents came to believe that Bobb and fellow Trump attorney Evan Corcoran may have obstructed the investigation.
"The former President's counsel explicitly prohibited government personnel from opening or looking inside any of the boxes that remained in the storage room, giving no opportunity for the government to confirm that no documents with classification markings remained" after Bobb signed the document, the filing said, undercutting Trump and his lawyers' claims that he was "cooperating fully" with the probe.
The filing came after Trump's lawyers sought to have a judge appoint a special master to review the seized documents for potentially privileged information. The DOJ said in a filing on Monday that a "filter team" had already reviewed the files for possibly privileged documents. The DOJ argued that Trump's request is now effectively moot and rejected Trump's demand to return the documents "because those records do not belong to him."
"The former President cites no case — and the government is aware of none — in which executive privilege has been successfully invoked to prohibit the sharing of documents within the Executive Branch," the filing said.

Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump-appointee, signaled earlier this week that she may be inclined to grant Trump's request for a special master. But the move would do little to impact the investigation and some legal experts believe that Trump's request already backfired.
"It opened the door for DOJ to publicly correct the record in Response brief," tweeted Ryan Goodman, an NYU Law professor. "Trump's legal team, and their client, again with self-inflicted wounds."
Former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, who served on special counsel Bob Mueller's team, agreed that the Trump request was a "huge misstep."
"DOJ has used its response to disclose damning proof of a series of crimes, which it would not otherwise have been able to do," he wrote. "And one very compelling photo."
Weissmann in an appearance on MSNBC also suggested that Trump's attorneys may need to lawyer up themselves.
"You need to withdraw as counsel and you need to get the best defense counsel you can possibly get and stop talking," Weissmann warned Trump's lawyers. "They are clearly going to be interviewed and, at the very least, they're going to be witnesses… And I say at the very least because they could be in worse trouble here."
Conway, a frequent Trump critic, agreed that all signs suggest that the DOJ may prosecute Trump's lawyers as co-defendants: "I think it would be almost crazy NOT to anticipate such an indictment at this point." |
