So, I expressed my view during the BHO reign, but you are bent out of shape that I would revisit the topic, ten years later, now that a different Democrat President is also bowing to political pressure? I stand by everything I said then, but, while those facts remain the same, the current situation has changed. TransCanada acted on the approval to proceed, but have had the rug pulled from under them. Any foreign company considering doing business in the US will correctly view these political shenanigans with great suspicion.

They are not unrelated. They highlight that President Biden is pandering to the left of his party with more to come. That's the point. |

Well, they did beat them up--along with Black men and reporters--in their cosplay attempt at insurrection. |

mrgybe, what do you think about the 'political pressure" used by Don Trump and his Republican supporters in Congress to falsely claim that the results of the November election were fraudulent in nature? Key in Sen. Hawley's specious claim that he was simply doing his job voicing the thoughts and feelings of his constituency in Missouri, while we all know that both Sen. Cruz and him were actively fishing for support from Trump's base to better position themselves for a presidential run in 2024. |

Quote: | A report from the U.S. Government Accountability Report found that the company behind the Keystone XL pipeline, which President Joe Biden effectively canceled, saw two major spills consisting of 12,000 barrels of oil from its existing Keystone pipeline network in the Dakotas. These led TC Energy Corp. to have a "worse than the national average" five-year oil spill record, which Jane Kleeb, chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party who has long opposed the project, said affirms concerns that environmental groups have already raised. I'll wait for buggy whip's favorite word--absurd. |
