Today's news crawler said for many minutes that the administration has announced that AMERICANS in Afghanistan may not get evacuated. Discussions suggested that this was not a simple statement of the reality that we may miss a few, but rather a hand-wringing dismissal of those still there. One big complaint was that Taliban checkpoints block the roads.

Do Mindless Joe and his puppetmasters not comprehend that
a) our obligation to our citizens and the Afghans that helped us at grave risk,
b) checkpoints make great drone targets,
c) the USAF, USN, and USA -- minus the GD lawyers and bleeding heart politicians -- have the power to decimate the Taliban in just days with less collateral damage than the Taliban and the inevitable Al Queda will inflict on Afghans and the Great Satan, and
d) the world is watching to see whether our nations' word means ANYTHING?

I have just one word for that kind of insanity (it has, after all, devolved into JUST one word): fuckingdemocrats. Unfortunately, the GOP has been spinlessrepublicans for generations, with the exceptions of 1980-1988 and 2016-2020.

Really, Trump has a spine? The same guy who incited an insurrection, said he would walk wither his followers to The Capitol then retreated to the Oval Office to watch it all unfold on TV? A spine, I think not. Perhaps you are just another Trump loyalist?

The State Department has been warning Americans in Afghanistan to clear out since Trump made his "deal" with the Taliban.

They've had several months to comply but you can lead a horse to water but....

If it was all as simple as you suggest then how the f*ck did we spend twenty years there without great success.

If the Taliban wants to revert back to caveman culture then I say let them have at it!

Reporting like this would have been labeled "fake news" by the previous administration.

I know opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, but look here back in 2019 (seems like a century ago).

And of course the nimrod couldn't keep his finger off the Twitter trigger!

He even says, repeatedly and in several ways, that not only did he make no mistakes but that he would do nothing different if he got a do-over. (Of course, those who get their news from social media, "the internet", and CNNNBCWAPOETC don't even know of the many credible, viable alternatives Biden had.) But by golly they can still type ... unlike recognizable conservatives who want to speak freely on the social media.

Or did I speak too soon? 12 tries and still it's an Invalid Session.

Humans are flawed, politicians more so I would say!

Biden is not our savior but he sure is a healthy alternative to the racist xenophobe we witnessed during the spineless years from 2016-2020!!!

Big fat lying Loser 45 is gone. Period!

Glad you are happy with old Joe. He wouldn't take questions yet again today, but felt he was safe to sit down with a reliable ally in Stephanopoulos. Having told us previously that there was no way the Taliban would overrun the country quickly and that plans were in place for every contingency, our seasoned foreign policy expert now reveals they assumed all along that chaos was inevitable. How could it possibly not be? Even Stephanopoulos looked stunned. He also did little to dispel the notion that he doesn't know what day it is when he told us that the first chaotic scenes at Kabul airport were four or five days ago. Two days ago actually, Mr. President.

If you aren't worried, you should be. Oh, and by the way, not everyone agrees with that "America's Back!" sticker on your bumper........from today's Daily Telegraph.

Parliament holds Joe Biden in contempt over Afghanistan
MPs and peers unite to condemn ‘dishonour’ of US president’s withdrawal and his criticism of Afghan troops left behind to face Taliban. Joe Biden's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal was condemned as "catastrophic" and "shameful" on Wednesday as the Houses of Parliament delivered an unprecedented rebuke to a US president.

Did you forget the the same body included their own PM in this decree or did you leave it out for emphasis?

This really says it all. Even the morons are catching on to just how despicable this so-called administration is.

Obviously the U.S. and its NATO allies, like the U.K. overestimated the capabilities and will of the Afgan Government/Army that taxpayers here in US funded, that is unfortunate. But the partisanship rings hollow. Please point me to your outrage when Trump invited Taliban leaders to the White House, and Camp David. That was a seminal moment, emboldening them as a legitimate entity, and paving the way for their return to prominence.

It was a direct quote, unedited. See for yourself..........

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2021/08/18/parliament-holds-joe-biden-contempt-afghanistan/

You all dodge around with silly distractions but none of you will respond to the central question of Biden's physical and intellectual ability to hold the most important, and most dangerous, job on the planet. Sitting in your mountain hideaway, or in the Silicon Valley bubble, you have no idea of the anger that this shambolic, unilateral withdrawal has caused globally. I have friends and former colleagues all over the world and they have not been slow to express their contempt for the chaotic way these events unfolded. There is no question that the US is diminished by this. Dismissing criticism of Biden's performance in this matter as partisanship is rank stupidity.

There is and never will be outrage for inviting Taliban to Camp David.
