I had a fun conversation just yesterday at the Emeryville launch site after an awesome sailing session with an elderly man walking with 2 canes who had wonderful recollections from his past as a middleman in acquiring foam blanks from Clark Foam in the 1980's for a friend in Sweden. Since he was living in California, his friend asked him to go to SoCal and buy a containerful of blanks to ship to Sweden that would be shaped into sailboards. He recalled that the work was done basically outside in a covered area, and he could tell that it was incredibly toxic work. He made the deal, and was proud of the Clark Foam t-shirt he got. He couldn't recall what the brand or maker of the boards was, whether a lot or only a few boards got made. He wasn't a sailor or had any expertise in materials. Maybe someone here knows about such Swedish boards from the late 80's.
