Very nice control.
I don't think downwind 360s are particularly dangerous. The worst thing is getting backwinded if you don't have the sail raked back enough. Sometimes this creates a bit of footstrap anxiety, but mine are very big and have not had any problems
Looks like sail all the way forward. Did you have the foil all the way back
My tips for 360, which I am still working on is turn a bit sooner than your gybe, rake the sail all the way back so the foot is on your leg and if you do get around push on the back hand to stand your self back up. Also, the leaning the mast to the windward during the bottom of the turn is much more than what feels natural. |
