Have you tried Boardsports California in the Bay area? They are a Star-board dealer, but they may not always have an inventory of everything on the sales floor. Nonetheless, I'm sure that they can order you anything that you want. We have to remember that windsurfing is kind of a speciality niche sport these days that isn't nearly the size of what it used to be in the 80s and early 90s. For retail dealers to survive these days, they make it work by advance orders in the fall and winter time frame for the upcoming model year.
I'm on E-Mail distribution with Star-board, and now's the time that their upcoming 2021 models are being advertised and promoted. About a week ago, I got their promotional details on the Kode line, and this week I received their promotional details on the Ultra Kode wave line. |

Unfortunately, this is an alarming trend now for several brands.
Still waiting for the sail I paid in October 2019. The dealer is awesome but the distribution sucks big time. They need to drag their ass for another month and I'll celebrate 1-year anniversary of not having the sail.

Waiting for gear....bummer.
I"ve been using 1998 and '99 5.2's this year. Lighter than '20's, a hair less top end.
Hecka cheaper...from the freebie pile. |

Sooner or later that stuff will get unusable too. Good luck with new materials. Now makers are not going to wait for 20 years for you to buy another gear |

Sitting in the van, 2019 Duotone SuperSession 5.2.
Got a seldom used '07 Ezzy Wave 5.5. Choose my '02 Sailworks Retro over it. |

My take on windsurfing gear .
Just because it's newer, doesn't mean it's better.
And it's been proven to me, time and time again. |

I started this and stated that it took a lot of tries to find a board as good as the old one. |
