3rd ave "open?"

Foster city said some beaches are opening on Sunday, and specifically listed windsurfing as an activity.

I’ve been holding off for now.

I got email from Foster City today saying Bay Winds parking lot will open at the end of the month, possibly sooner, but no date yet.

May 10 for Foster City beach access.

I went by 3rd ave on May 15th. The water is accessible, but the lot is still blocked off. You can, and a few people did, park before the turn to the end of the driving range and walk in to use the ramp.

Foster City Park & Rec site says all city park parking lots to reopen today, Sunday 5/17.

Can anyone confirm 3rd Ave/Baywinds lot now fully open?

3rd ave parking lot open today. Bathroom closed.

Suggest we make an effort to mask unless actively entering or leaving the water. Don’t want to lose this now it’s open.
