Hello,

As of today 4-22-20 what are the options to windsurf in the bay area ?

Thinking of:
-Sherman Island (looks like yes)
-Crissy Field ?
-Coyote ?
-Candlestick ?
-Waddell ?

Thanks

Sherman Island County Park, yes
Coyote Point Park is closed to cars, but you can walk, bike, skateboard, etc. in
Candlestick State Park is closed, launch access is open, but there is literally no place to park as the entire roadside is filled with RV's

I don't know about either Crissy or Waddell.

Crissy is closed to cars. You can walk or bike into it. Windsurfers and kitesurfers park at the Palace of Fine Arts, across from St. Francis YC, and carry their gear about 1/4 gear to the beach.

Treasure Island is open.

Berkeley is open.

Alameda beach is accessible, but you must park on the street.

Pt. Isabel is completely closed. No way in, even on foot.

I haven't checked the Marina Bay launch.

Coyote: launch from the old ASD location.

San Mateo County local law enforcement operations
https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Cops-order-900-off-San-Mateo-County-beaches-15216038.php

That new office structure built over the last couple years now blocks the wind inside at ASD; it's walk/wadeable I am told. From the looks of it, quite the PITA

Since I was kicked out of Tomales Bay last month because there were too many vehicles parked together at Grassy Point I'm not going to post the secret spot where I windsurfed the last two days. Those who know me can probably guess.
