Thinking to go to Barbados in mid-end of February. Anybody had been there in that time of year? Can you share experience? What conditions there in February?
I assume Brian Talma's DeAction shop is the only place to rent equipment on the island? Any reviews on that shop?

Thanks in advance!

Best wind was usually 8 am to 11 am. Wind is light - I used a 5.6 most days (180 lbs). Wind forecast on windguru was fairly accurate. Forecast showed wind every day we were there, and we were able to sail every day. Wind varied between cross shore to slightly cross onshore. In summer the waves were mainly wind swell and not super powerful, but still got up to 8 feet faces at times. Winter swells are probably better.

As you see at Iwindsurf, wind can be anything from zero to 50.
The day we were there in mid Dec '19, it was E at 17-27 from 10 am until around 3 pm, gradually tapering off to 15 by 5 pm.
Kitesurfers were rigged and flying what appeared to be 8 meter kites by 10 am on the leeward w shore.
Hearsay was ws from ne shores, kitesurf from all around the island.
Nw shore was 15-27, 3' windswells, and pretty flat seas.
Looking at wind readings in Carib, Barbados does'nt conform directly with carib norms, maybe because it's so far e.
