In my primary career, adultery -- or simply getting too frisky with anyone of lesser rank even if both are single -- was a court martial offense. Why should that be any different for other federal government officials? (Hint: it isn't.)

BTW ... the same goes for speaking to the media. Only specific individuals (as with my last year in uniform, when I dealt almost daily with the global media) whose official duties include that may do so without punitive charges.
