Hi Gang,

If you have looked at the forecast for an eddy the today and then look at the satellite imagery you were probably shaking your head wondering "what eddy?"

The issue is that the marine layer clouds have been compressed almost out of existence by the heat-producing upper ridge. So there is no visible eddy.
