The Week At The Lake

Hey Wind Junkies!

As you should know, The Week at the Lake (Isabella) starts Saturday. Well, it was supposed to. I just spent some time looking at all my crystal balls, and they tell me…….nothing. So I watched Dallas Raines, and he said……nothing. So I consulted the National Weather Service, and learned….nothing. Well, I did learn one thing: They’re forecasting ZERO temperature differential between Bakersfield and California City for the next 7 days, up to Wednesday.

I don’t know, guys, there’s a bunch of weird low-pressure areas floating around inland, and they MIGHT line up for some big-sail wind, but it would be an accident. Isabella is blowing 2 out of the East right now (4:20 PM). I can’t recommend anyone come up to the lake for sailing this weekend, or the first part of next week. I’ll issue an update if anything changes, but don’t hold your breath, we’ll probably just take a Staycation instead, unless Debi, with her endless optimism, makes me go.

So bummed out!
