Good stuff yesterday at Spring Lake. Breeze was S making it filled in all the way up to the beach. Not much surf to speak of, but solid planable winds, upper teens to low twenties. Easy fun.
Looking like more of the same today but if it goes more SW, it will be perfectly side shore if not slightly side off.

| Yeah - yesterday was really fun. Small group of us sailed at Sandy Hook where the wind really filled in nice but was especially gusty/strong near shore. No waves but smooth water over the sand bar made for great flat water jibing. By 4:00, the wind really ramped up to solid mid 20's. Should be a repeat today. May try further south at the old Top of the Mast. Its called something else now but you can park at the motel and the sand bars are still working. |
