wow he Bret, was for and worked on Kennith stars attack of bill clinton that in todays dollars was about 200 million spent and what 7 years going after Clinton. and he was for impeachment hearings... He was a co-author. we can not have such a right wing idiot that flips on such an important subject. Ya the clintons was a right wing witch hunt as proven by the amount spent and the crimes chased and not one grand jury indictment, but this idiot co-wrote articles of impeachment. agai we need someone of the top that has the ability to think not be wrong on major issues.
Then when working for Bush, he changed and said a president should be above the law. and Congress should pass a law that a president cannot be held accountable for crimes.
gee why did Trump pick him... now we know...

Kavanaugh urged tough, explicit questions for Clinton in Lewinsky investigation
Quote: |
Two days before President Bill Clinton was questioned by a grand jury about his relationship with intern Monica Lewinsky, Brett Kavanaugh, now President Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court, urged independent counsel Ken Starr not to go easy on the president, and provided Starr with a list of tough, explicit questions to ask.
Kavanaugh — who as a judge on the federal circuit court of appeals for the District of Columbia has taken an expansive view of presidential power and prerogatives — at that time was “strongly opposed” to giving Clinton a “break” in his questioning. |

Sorry mac, but Kamala Harris, and Cory Booker, just weren't quite assholes enough to get their job done.
"I am Spartacus, no I'm Spartacus, no I'm Spartacus, no I'm Spartacus, no I'm Spartacus...….…..".
What a complete joke of a hearing.
If either one of them decide to run for POTUS, they have provided some great material for the opposition. |

they should have been asking him were you for it before you were against it, and how many major issues like this have you flipped flopped on. IE does he have the intellectual thought processes that are needed for the supreme court. So your ruling will be worthy of flip-flops by intellectuals?
again read the questions this whore of an in-human demanded the prosecutors ask Clinton, what a friggen ash hole ... Booker should have brought those questions to the whore and asked him each one that he suggested if he thinks trump should be asked about the 30 plus females and the child he raped or some of his love children or aborted children? Now that would have gotten Booker elected and jammed the news cycles to show what amoral right wingsers are and support. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard.

Democrats Try To Make Case For Brett Kavanaugh Perjury With Past Emails

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/kavanaugh-accused-untruthful-testimony-under-oath-and-the-record?cid=eml_mra_20180910
Quote: |
There are several areas of concern when it comes to dubious comments Kavanaugh has made under oath to the Senate Judiciary Committee, but one of the most important may be an incident from 2003 in which a Senate Republican aide stole thousands of documents from committee Democrats on the fight over Bush/Cheney judicial nominees. (Those handful of you who were reading me at the time might remember the story known at the time as “Memogate.”)
During confirmation hearings for his original judicial nomination, senators pressed Kavanaugh for answers on his possible involvement in the scandal. Under oath, he told the Judiciary Committee that he wasn’t aware of the thefts and never saw the stolen materials in any way.
Two years later, in 2006, Kavanaugh testified that he never even suspected that there were thefts of Democratic documents underway.
Last week, Leahy asked the Supreme Court nominee, “When you worked at the White House, did anyone ever tell you they had a ‘mole’ that provided them with secret information related to nominations?” Kavanaugh said he had no such recollection.
Each of these claims, we now know, appear to have been the opposite of the truth. We have an incomplete record of Kavanaugh’s professional history, but the limited amount of information we do have points to an email Kavanaugh received with a subject line that said, “Spying.” The first line of the email references a “mole” that provided Democratic materials on judicial nominees – the same materials that the “mole” stole and that were shared with Kavanaugh.
Lisa Graves, whose materials were stolen as part of the Republican theft at the time, wrote a brutal piece for Slate the other day: “Even if Kavanaugh could claim that he didn’t have any hint at the time he received the emails that these documents were of suspect provenance – which I personally find implausible – there is no reasonable way for him to assert honestly that he had no idea what they were after the revelation of the theft. Any reasonable person would have realized they had been stolen, and certainly someone as smart as Kavanaugh would have too. But he lied. Under oath. And he did so repeatedly.”
Graves suggested that Kavanaugh doesn’t deserve a promotion to the nation’s highest court; he deserves to be impeached over his repeated deceptions to the Senate. |
