Sherman Island is a mess as well. Marcus posted some photos on Facebook. It looks like a bomb went off or a huge mud slide came though. You can't even see any water in the play pen because it is covered in drift wood.

Erik Simonson (I think) posted a video of a tremendous ebb at the Red Nun/South Tower. The current is really ripping through there.

Anytime you get a +6 feet high tide going into a -1 low tide, you get huge currents, plenty enough a sailboard going 6 mph drifts back out the gate while sailing full speed inwards.
Add some winter runoff, it's stronger, right?
Crissy season starts closer to May than now, so let's see how much more rain we get then before we go all Nostradamus.

I got a couple epic south tower days last year on some pretty big ebbs with good wind. Might be my favorite setup in the bay when it goes right.
