Sherman Island is a mess as well. Marcus posted some photos on Facebook. It looks like a bomb went off or a huge mud slide came though. You can't even see any water in the play pen because it is covered in drift wood.

Anytime you get a +6 feet high tide going into a -1 low tide, you get huge currents, plenty enough a sailboard going 6 mph drifts back out the gate while sailing full speed inwards.
Add some winter runoff, it's stronger, right?
Crissy season starts closer to May than now, so let's see how much more rain we get then before we go all Nostradamus. |
