Old Silver or Chappaquoit beach should work on west wind. Swell is a bit inevitable, however.

I learned a lot of my windsurfing on Wild Harbor/New Silver beach in the late 80's and early 90's. On a SW wind a decent swell would roll in.

I once did a downwind run from Chappy to New Silver - was quite a bronco ride!

Harding is good in a West but gets a decent wind swell.
Who is up for a Corporation Beach session on Sunday?

I had a good session at Chapin a few weeks back and been wanting to get back but would consider trying Corporation Beach. How does it compare to Chapin?

Chapin.... https://vimeo.com/39272298

Corp...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuMpjPrs9Gc

Chapin has an inside section that you can ease your way into the waves.
Corp. you have to go right into the waves and keep yourself from ending up on the beach from relentless wind swell.

Another thing about Corporation; There is a big hill behind the beach. It's easy to get greedy and ride waves in too close on the far side and get sucked into the wind hole caused by the lift over the hill. This results in a short/medium shameful walk. Happens when there is more north in the wind.

Thanks for all the tips and cool videos too! If the forecast holds I'll give it a shot Sunday.
