Thanks for sharing the pic, U2U2! Si Crowther is such an amazing photographer! He got quite a few really good shots, all visible on the AWT Facebook page:

Cabo Verde was a really cool place with very welcoming locals and a vibrant windsurf scene. We didn't get any big long period swells on the trip, but the standard wind swell conditions were really fun. Can't wait to go back some day!

Here are a few of KP's event videos, too:

Oh dude, Si got that one in Baja last year. Like I said, he's an amazing photographer!!! One of the rad parts of going to an AWT event is having a world class photographer there to catch your moments.

Here's another photo from Cabo Verde. This is the "Secret Spot" which fluctuates between barely side on and fully side off during the NE trade winds. We did most of our sailing here during the trip, because it catches the wind swell, whereas most of the other spots that everyone's heard of were super flat at the time. Pretty shallow, rocky bottom, urchins (hence the booties), but the good ones lined up for a solid 4-6 turns down the line with lots of sections to hit. The super pros were killing it and throwing goiters, air takas, big turns, etc etc. It was a blast to watch them. Really fun spot, and definitely better than nothing!!

The background of this photo is the hill above "Ali Baba", just down the coast from Corral Joule. Man, I wish it had been breaking during the trip. Hundreds of yards long perfect right hand point break..................... Flat as a pancake!!!

Secret Spot is the bay/point just to the North East of the little island, where you can see the wave breaking...
